Secret to Victorious Christian Living When asked the secret of Victorious Christian living, Billy Graham said there is no magic formula, but offered a few keys. The first key is "surrender" - surrender completely to the will of God. The second key would be "devotion". Seems simple doesn't it. He went on to say; "Nothing can take the place of a daily devotional life with Christ. Your quiet time, your prayer time, the time you spend in the Word, is absolutely essential for a happy Christian life". This is so true!! You can not possibly be a happy, effective, and powerful Christian apart from a daily walk with Christ. You have to take the time to get into his Word (read it) and do what it says (apply it to your life). Christ is calling Christians today to cleansing, to dedication, to consecration, and to full surrender! It will make the difference between success and failure in your spiritual life. (Aren't you tired of failing?!?!) This type of surrender and devotion will mean that you are looking to help others instead of always being helped. It means you are changing your habits to be more like that of Christ. Instead of facebooking, youtubing or spending time with other tv and media, you are praying and reading your Bible. It means you change the way you give your time, money and resources. Surrender and devotion changes your testimony, your future and your committment to the church of Christ.
